In continuation of a previous exploratory business trip by the officials and settled company representatives of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) to Muscat, Oman, a group of Omani businessmen visited ISTT for follow up negotiations.
During this visit apart from an introduction to ISTT and its activities, the capacity and variety of knowledge-based products produced by the settled companies at ISTT were also introduced to the group whom in turn were interested in exploring the possibilities of export to Oman.
The group leader, Saif Al Salhi expressed a positive on look towards the launch of knowledge based export from ISTT to Oman and also proclaimed ISTT as a viable partner with extensive potential in this regard. He also went on to state that his meetings with several of the C.E.O’s of companies settled at ISTT have proved to be most beneficial and he hopes to see their presence in the Shopping Malls of Oman in the near future.
Upon the conclusion of the meeting the parties continued on to a tour of ISTT grounds and also several of the settled company offices therein. This visit included Pertikan Light Cement Co. and Ehyagaran e Ghalb Asia Co. (Rooyeshgar) which greatly facilitated the negotiation process.
This round of negotiations came after a joint imitative between ISTT and Innovation Park Muscat (IPM) to familiarize the settled k-based companies at ISTT with the existing potential collaborative properties of Oman and through the network of connections established subsequently, a brief history of which was presented to the group during the meeting.
In recent years ISTT has mainly pursued the internationalization of its settled companies and their products in line with its main objective of developing k-based companies and its economy within the province, country and region. To this end it has endeavored on exploratory technology business trips with its settled companies, tried to facilitate the presence and participation of its companies at international exhibitions and organize business matching sessions and meetings with international trade oriented business men and women with the C.E.O’s of the settled companies at ISTT.
